Cardigan: Target // Tee: Etsy // Pants: Lucky Brand // Booties: Sam Edelman // Sun glasses: Ray Ban // Lipstick: MAC ‘Chatterbox’

I got these Sam Edelman boots a while back for my birthday and I absolutely love them! I don’t normally wear heels of any kind (my normal footwear tends to be sandals or snow boots haha.) But these have a small heel thats just high enough to make you feel dressed up, but are not too high so they are super comfy! I paired them with jeans, my new favorite cardigan ever, and this graphic tee (which has been my go to lately) for a relaxed Sunday feel.

Pictures are by my wonderful Husband! We had fun walking around Nevada City looking for cool spots for future photoshoots, so if you enjoyed this one or have any tips/ suggestions for my next post, leave me a comment! 🙂

With love,

Lindsay

Dress- Oleg Cassini // Diamond Ring- Custom made by Kay // Flower Crown- handmade by my mom // Bouquets- made by my bridesmaids // Jake’s Tux- Vera Wang

It’s snowing outside as I write this post on Thanksgiving eve and our wedding pictures are here! I could not be happier! On October 3, 2015 I married my best friend and love of my life. This day was so special and beautiful and I’m so happy we were able to celebrate with all who came. Fun fact: It hailed during our reception and dancing in the hail storm with thunder and lightning will forever be one of my favorite memories!

Thanks again to all our family and friends who contributed to this fairytale wedding, and thank you Ari Christine Photography for capturing these magical moments! Enjoy this selection of photos and happy Thanksgiving!

With love,

Mrs. Lindsay Smith

November glam bag

A month ago I signed up for Ipsy and a few days ago I received my November glam bag! If you haven’t heard of Ipsy, it’s where you receive a small makeup bag with 5 beauty products in it every month. And the best part is that it’s only $10 a month! I was so excited to try it because shopping for makeup at department stores and drugstores is very overwhelming for me. There are so many options and I find myself not being able to decide what to try. Ipsy is nice because they decide for you, and when you sign up online you can pick what kind of things you would most like to receive in your glam bag. (eye shadows, mascaras, lipsticks, brushes, etc.)

This month I received China glaze nail polish, Leeani Eco skin booster, a pointed crease brush, Smashbox full exposure mascara, and a gold eye crayon inside of a galaxy print makeup bag!

IMG_5032My new favorite duo! ^^^ The gold crayon is subtle but fancy and perfect for a holiday look, but honestly i’ll probably wear it everyday because I love it so much.

Thanks for reading my review on Ipsy glam bags 🙂  Now go sign up and try it! It really is so so fun!

Our date to the Pumpkin Patch

Earlier this week Jake and I went on our first date as husband and wife! We visited Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm and let me tell you, it is the cutest little Pumpkin Farm I’ve ever been to. It has basically everything you can think of including a corn maze, sunflower labyrinth, playground, giant slides, goats, pigs, train rides, homemade corndogs, ice cream, and of course a pumpkin patch. I can’t wait to take our future children there! 🙂

We explored for a while and then chose to get some ice cream and walk through the Sunflower Labyrinth. You can pay to pick the flowers so I recommend going early in the season because most of the sunflowers were already gone. 🙁 It was getting late so we decided to skip the corn maze (we didn’t want to be stuck in it when it got dark haha) and went straight to pumpkin pickin. We ended up with a bunch of cute little pumpkins and squash (at least we think they are squash) and one big pumpkin. It was so much fun, i’m trying to get Jake to go back so we can get those corn dogs and go in the corn maze. Wish me luck!

Reno Runaway

Recently Jake and I ran away to Reno for a couple nights. With all the stress of the wedding starting to weigh heavy we thought it would be best to get away for a few nights. And we picked up some wedding supplies so it was also productive! (thumbs up)

We stayed at the Grand Sierra Resort and had a great time. Although we did leave to eat at Ichiban (my favorite restaurant in Reno)  you never have to leave this hotel. It has everything you need, including a pool, bowling ally, shopping, arcade, mini golf, restaurants, and even a movie theatre! While Jake enjoyed the slot machines I found a super cute store located downstairs at the GSR called 2bella. I found this hat (pictured bellow) that I fell in love with instantly. It is literally my new favorite accessory and it is so perfect for fall, which is right around the corner! Eeek!
