Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! We didn’t do any dressing up this year but we did bake a couple dozen cookies and may or may not have eaten all of them in one night… whoops! We did however go to the pumpkin patch recently! We checked out all the animals including this sketchy llama, (he was cute but I swear he wanted to spit at me or something) walked through the sunflower labyrinth, and picked out pumpkins. We never actually carved our pumpkins though. We pulled all the guts out of them but then decided we would draw our faces on instead of carve them lol.
I’m sad to once again say goodbye to October, but excited to welcome the month that my favorite person was born. And November means the holidays will be here soon! Can’t wait!

Continuing on with my Fall Look Book, I have outfit #2 today. I know not everyone (including me) can go buy a whole new fall wardrobe every year, so this is an outfit that I put together with mostly all pieces I purchased last year. The exception being this purse and my peach vest I’ve actually owned since 7th grade. That means this vest is 13 years old! Whoa. Everything is linked above unless I couldn’t find the exact item then something similar will be in its place. For example my thermal from Free People is from last year but they come out with new ones every year, so I will link some similar ones I’m loving this fall!
Anyways, aren’t these murals cool?! We saw these in downtown Sac when Jake and I went to breakfast for my birthday. We ate at The Mimosa House on J street. Their french toast with chocolate and fresh strawberries is so good. I definitely recommend it. Im 25 now and I have a really good feeling about it! I feel like a lot of great things are going to happen this year and I can’t wait!
Ps. here are some more cute Free People favorites! One, two, three.
Thanks so much for reading 🙂

These pics are from a walk we took in the Tahoe forest on our anniversary. We found this cool observation center that let you look under water. Normally at this time of year there are hundreds of Kokanee salmon in the river, (Jake and I went a few years ago and it was a pretty cool sight to see) but this year we only saw one. So weird, but it was fun and the weather was crisp and perfect.
Its supposed to rain for the next 4 days according to my weather app so I’m making chicken tortilla soup in my crockpot. Im not a super great cook (Jake is a pro) but I made up this recipe and Jake and I both LOVE it, and crockpots make everything so easy!
Have a lovely day! xo

You guys! My favorite season is here! I am so so excited its finally fall, and no not because of anything pumpkin spice. The weather is amazing and the leaves are changing and that means its time to pull out all the sweaters, and scarves, and leggings, and boots. Fall outfits are my absolute favorite to style, so this year I’ve put together a bunch of different looks for fall and today I’m sharing the first outfit.
I recently picked up this light washed denim jacket and I love it so much! its surprisingly really soft and comfy. I paired it with a plain white tee, black distressed jeans (which are my new favorite pants), and some brown booties. I wore it for just a day of errands and shopping with Jake and it was perfect 🙂
Hope you all are having a good weekend!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to get my hair and makeup done by the wonderful Angela Nunnink. She is seriously so talented, I wish she could come to my house every morning to do my makeup! I love my eye make up here, i’ve never seen myself with this look before. Normally she does more natural looking makeup but we were doing an editorial look so she needed to use eye liner on me and I was cracking up because it was my first time ever having it put on and it tickled so much and I kept blinking. haha (whoops, sorry Angela!)
She did a bunch of braids and kind of wrapped them over the top of my head and it looked super cool, but this is the second look, (pictured above) she threw together this fishtail braid, which is my favorite braid and hairstyle 🙂
Any ways I hope everyone is having a good week!
