Holiday gift guide for Baby!

Gift guide number 2 is here! This was my favorite one to make so far because I’m obsessed with all things baby right now, obviously 🙂 especially baby girl stuff but I did my best to keep this guide mostly gender neutral!

Cotton bodysuit & pants – The cutest simple outfit that I already ordered for baby Penny 🙂

Stuffed Owl – These jelly cat stuffed animals are the best!

Knit Cardigan – Im a sucker for any knit baby clothes and this cardigan comes in bunch of colors so it can be gender neutral in grey or brown.

Sophie Giraffe – The perfect teether!

Pink polka dot pants – Need these for baby girl!

Woodland animal puzzle – Maybe baby doesn’t do puzzles yet but its cute and colorful and they can just chew on it right? haha

Pom Beanie – What baby doesn’t look ten times cuter in a beanie?!

Board Book – A must have 🙂 & I plan on reading to all my kids even when they are tiny babies.

Triangle knit pants – More cute pants that are gender neutral too!

Bla Bla reindeer dolls – These might be a little pricey but I think the deers are so cute for Christmas!

Holiday gift guide for Her!

Here it is! The first holiday gift guide of the season and lets be honest this is basically my list to Santa 🙂 And I kept it all under $40 EXCEPT for the watch because it supports such a good cause!

Vanity Planet Skin Spa – I was super excited to find this at such a low price point as all the other brands I saw are over $100! It comes with 3 brushes and in 3 different colors to choose from.

Burgundy Pom Beanie – So cute!

Mon Amie Watch – These watches are not only the cutest thing but they support communities around the globe by donating food, clean water, school supplies, and prenatal care for women.  This is my number one most wanted gift! !f you’re going to buy a nice watch you might as well help some one out while doing it right? It doesn’t get much better than that 🙂

Nars Lip Gloss – Love this color so much!

Plush Pjs – I just ordered these because they are only $20 right now!

Becca Highlighter – Already in my cart because highlighters are my favorite makeup product to buy!

Fluffy Blanket  – Everyone needs a cozy blanket for Christmas right? I say you can never have too many! Jake disagrees haha

Moccasin Slippers – These are currently part of a buy one get one 50% off deal so HURRY!

Merry Christmas Week! + Gift Guide

It’s Christmas week you guys! I don’t know how it came so fast?! We just put our tree up last night and I’m in love! We didn’t think we were going to get a tree this year since we are moving January 1st. and didn’t want the hassle but then we changed our minds and decided its definitely worth it! AND Jakes parents were kind enough to cut one down for us so hip hip hooray! Jake and I are still finishing up our shopping and I know it stresses a lot of people out to shop so close to the holiday but I secretly love it!

My Mom came over and we baked 12 dozen cookies for friends and family. Including cake batter cookies, sugar cookies, russian tea cakes, and white chocolate chip, and we only burned one batch haha WIN!

Jake got to play Santa this year and it was awesome! He was amazing at it! The preschool I sub at asked if he would do it and although he was nervous, once he got into the suit he totally got into character and the kids were completely convinced. I loved watching it all play out and being his “reindeer” helper 🙂

I had every intention of creating this awesome “gift guide for the whole family” this year but here we are 5 days away from Christmas and I haven’t done it, so here’s my Mini Gift Guide 🙂

FOR HER (aka my wish list)

These Nikes // This Sweater // Victorias Secret Christmas PJs // These Boots (insert heart eyes) // BareMinerals Powder Trio

FOR HIM (aka Jakes list)

Echo Dot // Fitbit // Wireless Headphones // Impact Nailer // Straight Razor

FOR THE KIDDOS (Things for all my nieces and nephews)

Play- Doh Touch // Moana Collection // Minion Operation // Olaf’s Night Before Christmas Book

Happy shopping!

xoxo

Goodbye 2015

IMG_5336(I didn’t get many pictures from Christmas this year)

I took a break from blogging to enjoy the holidays, but I’m back now so this post will kind of sum up our Christmas and i’ll share some of our new years resolutions. This year Jake and I had 4 Christmases to attend, all on Christmas day! Well 5, if you count his Grandmas on Christmas eve. She always does a white elephant gift exchange (Which I think is super fun) but I missed it this year because my Mom and I went last minute shopping. (Yes we are those crazies that went shopping on Christmas eve! Traffic was a nightmare!) We started with Jakes parents house for presents and breakfast, then my parents house to exchange gifts, then we went back to our house and did our Christmas and relaxed a bit. That evening we went to my Aunt and Uncles house for dinner and games. It was busy, but we had a lot of fun!

Jake and I took a lot of time to reflect on the past year(s) and made a lot of decisions about the future and how we want our lives to look. I think its important to do this especially after getting married (if not before), just to make sure you both know each others goals/expectations on life, love, family, etc. We made a lot of personal goals separately and as a couple and I’m super excited about them. One that we have been conquering together is the super cliche resolution of getting in shape. Which, whether it is cliche or not, I think is an awesome new years resolution! My personal goal has been to hit the gym 3 times a week, While Jake goes close to everyday. We motivate each other to go when the other is feeling lazy and its super fun to work out together, so basically we are crushing this resolution. Yay us!

Thats all for now, goodbye 2015, thanks for the lessons but I’m more than ready to rock 2016!

With love,

Lindsay

Shirt- Free People(Old) Love this one //Christmas PJs- Target (last year) Similar here //Stockings- Target (similar)

We finally got our tree this week and yesterday afternoon Jake put it up so we could decorate it. I love love love decorating for holidays, especially Christmas! It hailed while we were decorating which isn’t snow, but close enough! I was pretty excited! Our tv wouldn’t play our Christmas music so yes we are playing “Pooh’s Christmas” in the background haha. It was fun to hang ornaments and take silly pictures with my new camera. Jake went out on black Friday and got me the Canon Rebel that I’ve had my eye on, I was so surprised 🙂 I’m so thankful for him and of course all of you! Thanks for reading guys!

Merry Christmas!

With Love,

Lindsay xo
