Holiday gift guide for Baby!

Gift guide number 2 is here! This was my favorite one to make so far because I’m obsessed with all things baby right now, obviously 🙂 especially baby girl stuff but I did my best to keep this guide mostly gender neutral!

Cotton bodysuit & pants – The cutest simple outfit that I already ordered for baby Penny 🙂

Stuffed Owl – These jelly cat stuffed animals are the best!

Knit Cardigan – Im a sucker for any knit baby clothes and this cardigan comes in bunch of colors so it can be gender neutral in grey or brown.

Sophie Giraffe – The perfect teether!

Pink polka dot pants – Need these for baby girl!

Woodland animal puzzle – Maybe baby doesn’t do puzzles yet but its cute and colorful and they can just chew on it right? haha

Pom Beanie – What baby doesn’t look ten times cuter in a beanie?!

Board Book – A must have 🙂 & I plan on reading to all my kids even when they are tiny babies.

Triangle knit pants – More cute pants that are gender neutral too!

Bla Bla reindeer dolls – These might be a little pricey but I think the deers are so cute for Christmas!

Bumpdate // Week 15

Theres a tiny bump now! At our 14 week ultrasound we heard babys heart beat again and it was perfect and doc said she was moving all over the place 🙂

How far along? 15 weeks

Gender? Girl 🙂

Weight gain? 5lbs

Maternity clothes? Not yet

Sleep? Sleep has been great along with naps a couple times a week

Best moment lately? Jake picked out some stuff for her while he was out shopping and its the cutest thing to me 🙂

Food cravings? Peanut butter and Jelly with milk, kraft singles (haha) and fruit – strawberries, kiwis, apples, & mandarin oranges.

Movement? I think its still too early but I have felt little fluttering feelings when I’m laying in bed and I feel like its baby…? but could also just be everything stretching and moving in there.

Size? Baby is the size of an avocado 🙂

Symptoms? Back pain and feeling sick if I haven’t eaten in a while.

Looking forward to? Christmas 🙂

Have a great week!

xoxo

Holiday gift guide for Her!

Here it is! The first holiday gift guide of the season and lets be honest this is basically my list to Santa 🙂 And I kept it all under $40 EXCEPT for the watch because it supports such a good cause!

Vanity Planet Skin Spa – I was super excited to find this at such a low price point as all the other brands I saw are over $100! It comes with 3 brushes and in 3 different colors to choose from.

Burgundy Pom Beanie – So cute!

Mon Amie Watch – These watches are not only the cutest thing but they support communities around the globe by donating food, clean water, school supplies, and prenatal care for women.  This is my number one most wanted gift! !f you’re going to buy a nice watch you might as well help some one out while doing it right? It doesn’t get much better than that 🙂

Nars Lip Gloss – Love this color so much!

Plush Pjs – I just ordered these because they are only $20 right now!

Becca Highlighter – Already in my cart because highlighters are my favorite makeup product to buy!

Fluffy Blanket  – Everyone needs a cozy blanket for Christmas right? I say you can never have too many! Jake disagrees haha

Moccasin Slippers – These are currently part of a buy one get one 50% off deal so HURRY!

Bumpdate // week 12

There’s not much of a bump yet but I want to document everything to come back and read in the future 🙂 so here we go!

How far along? 12 weeks

Weight gain? I haven’t checked but probably a couple pounds…

Maternity clothes? Not yet but leggings are a daily occurance because pants are SO uncomfortable.

Sleep? I sleep good on and off. Its been hard to get comfortable and I end up waking up multiple times a night. (And I know sleep is just going to get worse and worse ahhh!) Naps have been amazing though.

Best moment? So far my favorite moment was hearing the heart beat and seeing baby moving their arms and legs all around at our last ultrasound 🙂

Weirdest moment? Sometimes I just sit and think about actually having a real live baby that is ours and it just doesn’t seem real. It seems too good to be true. And then I cry about it because: hormones.

Food cravings? In weeks 4-10 I craved raw veggies with ranch, war wonton soup, turkey sandwiches, and cookies and milk. In the last 2 weeks I’ve just been craving apples, berries, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with a glass of milk.

Movement? None yet (too early) but I can’t wait to feel them move for the first time.

Gender? Not sure yet! I always thought i’d have a feeling of whether it was a boy or girl but I have no feeling whatsoever. Its so weird!

Size? Baby is the size of a plum 🙂

Symptoms? In the early weeks nausea hit in the morning and anytime I was in the car. Now nausea hits me at night so its easier to handle because I can just go to bed. Besides that I’m basically just starving 24/7 haha

Looking forward to? Thanksgiving! & seeing our baby at the next ultrasound!

Have a great week!

Baby Smith!

Jake and I are so extremely excited to announce that Baby Smith is finally on its way! We cannot wait to be parents and meet him or her in May! Its all I can think about everyday, and what I’m going to eat next. lol

I had a feeling I was pregnant the week before I tested because I had weird intense cramping that i’d never had before and I kept googling it and every website said it was implantation cramping. So I waited a few more days and then tested and sure enough! Jake was still asleep so I decided to try and plan some cute way to tell him. Well after a few hours of not really being able to come up with anything and getting way too impatiant I pulled up a picture of a shirt that said “Be nice to me, my wife is pregnant” and I showed it to him and asked if he wanted me to order it for him. This is how that went….

Jake – “Yeah but when you are pregnant”

Me – “Ok so should I order it now then?”

Jake – “No! When you are pregnant…”

Me – …..”Ok I guess I should order it then….”

Jake- “NO!! Wait till you are pregnant…….Wait……are you pregnant?!”

Ding ding ding! Cue all the happy tears, etc. 🙂 Love him and this little baby 🙂
